UNC's The Water Institute Celebrates World Water Day
Magnetism, electricity, electromagnetism, microwaves, radio activity, heat, pressure, toxicity all play a part. For a long time to come they are for obvious reasons not going to diminish or disappear but rather increase in intensification. While this Flowform eco-technology has numerous practical applications, the Healing Water Institute researches this at arms length as well as considering other methods.

I have introduced the river with both the traditional Indigenous and English names to respectively honour and include all the peoples who previously and currently share and care for the Capilano River and its surrounding areas. The Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh peoples share the same name, followed by the Squamish names. Visually and technically, I was influenced by filmmaker Gregory Coyes’ Slow Media approach to capturing stunning images of nature and spaces within the environment. We, the visitors, the guests on this land...must nurture and take care of the water to support the plants and animals we have disrupted. The time is now, we all need to take meaningful actions every day to use less water…to properly dispose of or recycle items…or sign petitions to support the health of the Earth and all living things. We can protect and heal our waters and our Earth if we connect with one another, with nature, and with the sources of our water.
Current Projects
Because of this great need, Healing Waters installed a water purification system in Embakassi in 2015. With the help of our strategic partner Jibu, this system is now providing safe water and jobs to helping turn thirsting individuals into a thriving community. healing-water With a large mining industry in the mountains, heavy metals often contaminate their waterways, making potable water difficult to come by. With the help of World Orphan Fund we installed a water purification system in the community of Renacer in 2013.

Observations from Watreco’s installations are presented in this paper together with similar reports from nature and the literature. The extreme vortex subpressure, possibly causing cavitation, could explain this phenomenon. The paper also discusses calcification in e.g. humans and soil in relation to water vortexing. In the workshop we will experience how a river shapes from a straight canal into a meandering water way. Based on the assumption that ideal flow is disturbed by retardation a method of restoring ideal flow is shown by the application of added heat. Both normal stress and shear stress in curved and accelerated flows can be caused by thermal motion of molecules.
Water Retention Landscapes help to restore natural water cycles by keeping rainwater in the areas where it falls. The water management plan that we are implementing with our partners aims to achieve water autonomy in our region and everywhere in the world. It is equally obvious that, albeit much more subtle, there are energies active within and around everything which is living. We also know today that these are often related in most delicate ways to the energies already mentioned above.
An organized highly stable coherent structure of bulk liquid water forms on irradiation in the presence of low entropy sunlight at room temperature, characterized by persistent fractal long distance-attraction based on self-organization ability. Reduction in thermal IR emission tunes a significant decline in surface temperature and aligns structural conformity. A distinctive configurative coherent aqueous state reveals a fractal scaling relationship in temperature fluctuations that maintains a self-organized structural adaptation irrespective of ambient temperature. In coherent water, the fractal constitution reveals a tentative high aesthetic preference in the human perception of naturalness, resembling the fractal nature of real snowflakes. The energy-conversion framework implied above seems rich with implication. Of particular significance is the observation that this fourth phase is charged; and, the water just beyond is oppositely charged, creating a battery that can produce current.
